This Privacy Policy explains how NutriPath ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use the NutriPath mobile application. By using the app you agree to these practices. This policy works alongside our Terms of Service and EULA.
Information we collect
- Account information — when you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive basic profile details such as your name and email address.
- Health and wellness data — food logs, calorie and macro entries, workouts, sleep data, weight and body metrics, medication reminders, and menstrual cycle or pregnancy information that you choose to enter.
- Photos and camera — when you use the food scanner, the app accesses your camera or photo library only to process the images you choose.
- Purchase data — subscription and purchase status, managed via the App Store, Google Play and RevenueCat. We never receive or store your payment card details.
- Usage and device data — device type, app version, advertising identifiers and anonymous analytics.
How we use your information
- To provide core features: food analysis, calorie and macro tracking, cycle tracking and personalised guidance.
- To maintain your account and sync your data across devices.
- To process and manage subscriptions.
- To send reminders and notifications you have enabled.
- To display and measure advertising in the free version, and to improve and secure the app.
Your data is yours alone
Your health data is accessible only to you. It is not readable by other users of the app, and it is never sold.
Third-party services
- AI providers — to analyse food images and power the AI nutritionist.
- Nutrition databases — including USDA FoodData Central.
- Authentication — Google, Apple and Firebase, for secure sign-in.
- Subscriptions — RevenueCat, the App Store and Google Play.
- Advertising — Google AdMob, in the free version.
Advertising
The free version may display ads via Google AdMob. We request non-personalised ads, which do not use your advertising identifier to build a profile of you. See Google's Privacy Policy. Premium subscribers see no ads.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@nutripath.io, and we will action it promptly.
Your rights
You may access, correct or delete your personal data. Contact us at the address below. You can manage permissions (camera, photos, notifications) in your device settings at any time.
Children's privacy
NutriPath is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
